How our free service works

Tyler Drainage is a free referral service for homeowners, landowners, and builders in Tyler and East Texas. We are not a contractor. Here is exactly how it works.

1. You tell us about the job

Fill out the short quote form. Tell us where the property is and what you need. A sentence or two of detail helps a lot.

2. We pass it to a local drainage contractor

We send your request to an independent local business that does this kind of work in your area. We aim to match you with providers who are established and responsive.

3. They contact you and quote the job

The provider reaches out, asks any questions, may schedule a visit, and gives you a price. You are free to say no.

Is it really free?

Yes. You never pay us anything. Local businesses may pay us for referrals, which is how the service is supported. That never changes the price you are quoted, and you are never obligated to hire anyone.

Tips before you hire anyone

• Ask the contractor to explain where the water will go and how much slope the pipe will have.
• Ask whether they use filter fabric and washed gravel (important in clay soil).
• Get the scope in writing, including sod or landscape restoration.
• Ask about a workmanship warranty.
• Make sure 811 is called to locate utilities before digging.
• If you see foundation cracking, also get a foundation evaluation.
